Vote for My Portrait...
Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:06PM I am proud to announce that one of my photographs is currently being exhibited at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. As a finalist in the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition, my piece was one of 49 works selected from 3,300 entries nation-wide. The show is on view through August 22, 2010. Be sure to stop by if you're in the Washington D.C. area!
You can vote for my portrait for the People's Choice award until Janury 18th.

Hey, I got 3rd place! Over 5,000 visitors to the exhibition and the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery web site voted for their favorite portrait, and I was the second runner-up. Thanks for your votes, everyone!

Great news!
Hi Sonia,
Your new website looks great...congratulations. I would love to hear how you got the idea to do the series of photos
in Echo park with dogs and their owners. How did you get so many people to agree? Did you know any of them? What
were their reactions when you requested photos? I love the shots.
Good luck with your work. God bless.
